Created for Electric City Playhouse’s 2024 production of Carrie the Musical, in which I also acted and created scenic art like the prom poster.

This is the crucifix that Carrie levitates when she practices telekinesis during Evening Prayers. For ease of implementing levitation effects and for safety if the crucifix ever fell from the set’s second story onto actors below, director Josh Pruiett’s main instruction to me was to make the crucifix as lightweight as possible.

I constructed the crucifix from insulation foam, foam clay, and acrylic paint.
